About Treptower Park

Pascal Brateau won the annual competition of the District Office Treptow-Köpenick this year with his work W A Y T R O U G H.

The site-specific installation accentuates the end of the path with a very consistent, seemingly minimalist formulation that evolves homogeneously from the plate pavement of the path and rises to a symbolic wall space figure. Pascal Brateau develops a two-dimensional shape into a plastic body. This conclusive idea also has usability – the visitors can sit down in the newly created amphitheater and look back into the path.

Important note: the site-specific installation “Enter at your own risk” of the same artist takes place until 13. July in gallery aquabitArt.
